Our CAD deparment will go to great lengths to create any custom designs which your company may desire. Once we have designed your custom upholstery frame styles, we will store the style patterns for the next time you place an order. This means that once a style has been designed, you will get the exact same upholstery frame every time your order a particular style.

Before we can begin the design process of your custom styles, we need to know exactly what it is that you would like us to create. You can send this information to us in a variety of different ways. For example, you may want to send us a picture of a fully upholstered frame along with the measurements that you'd like us to use. We will also accept simple sketches or cardboard patterns by mail (see list below).


	Style Picture w/ measurements - Includes a picture of the style you are looking for. This may be a picture of a fully upholstered piece of furniture, or just an upholstery frame. Necessary measurements are described in more detail below.
	Style Paper Sketch w/ measurements - A sketch of the upholstery frame for which you would like. The sketch does not need to be to any kind of scale, but must be complete with all measurements (described below).
	Cardboard Patterns - If you already have patterns on the style that you would like us to create you can mail them out to us. Our mailing information can be found here. This approach requires no written measurements. Your patterns will be duplicated exactly as we received them.
	Measurements - Keep in mind that when sending us a style picture or sketch we also need the measurements listed in the black control box below. Move your mouse cursor over the white text in the control box to view a visual representation of each measurement.

Once we have all the necessary information about your custom style, we will begin our design process. During this time we will completely construct a 3D skeleton image of your upholstery frame on our computer system. The computer frame image will be based 100% on any patterns and/or measurements which we have received. This approach guarantees that the upholstery frame will fit together perfectly before its pieces are ever physically cut. The computer frame image will then be disassembled into its simplest parts and used to generate CNC program files and saw lists. By following these steps, we are able to offer the exact same frame every time you order your custom style.

Pricing on any custom styles will be figured using the same thorough process that we use to price all of our styles with the exception of design time. The design process charges will be waived/refunded if your company orders 50 or more of your custom style within the first year of creation. Our shops charge an upholstery design fee of $65.00 per hour.
